The brief.
Race the Sun brought together six runners, 22.5 hours of non-stop movement, and a single unrelenting objective—outrun the sun. Backed by Unofficial Run Club, Recovery Lab, New Balance, WHOOP, Hyro, and Red Bull Australia, this wasn’t just an endurance challenge. It was a high-stakes, high-performance narrative. We were tasked with bringing it to life through photo, video, and social—pushing beyond event coverage into cinematic storytelling.






Chasing Light, Capturing Fire
The final film opened not on land, but in space. Imagery of the sun’s surface set the tone: bold, red-orange, and burning with intensity. This visual language carried through the entire edit – deep shadows, high contrast, and glowing hues matched the grit and grandeur of the mission. Runners moved like silhouettes against the landscape, the sun ever-present as both symbol and adversary. Every shot was built with intention – dynamic, refined, and driven by motion. With layered visuals, smooth transitions, and high-impact edits, we turned an endurance race into an epic, cinematic journey.
